I ship software end-to-end.

I build web products and take them all the way to production: Next.js and TypeScript on the front, Python and Node behind it, Postgres and Supabase underneath. Two of them are deployed and publicly live: one is my own product in public beta, the other was built to a real brief.

Six that shipped. Each one had a problem in it I had not solved before.

MinBiz

Multi-tenant B2B SaaS · Personal project (public beta)

A product of my own, on its own domain and in public beta. 556 tests in CI.

  • Next.js 15
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase (Postgres + RLS + Auth)
  • Stripe
  • Google Gemini
  • Cloudflare Turnstile
  • Resend
  • @react-pdf/renderer + pdf-lib
  • Vitest
  • GitHub Actions
  • Write a quote, the customer accepts it from a public link without an account, it becomes an invoice, and the VAT period is ready for Skatteverket — with ROT/RUT modelled in.
  • Tenant isolation enforced in Postgres by row-level security rather than in the application layer.
  • 556 Vitest tests behind a GitHub Actions pipeline running tsc → lint → tests → build.

Ellösning Service

Client website · Licensed electrician, Stockholm

Client site for a Stockholm electrician, built for local search. Plain HTML, CSS and JS with zero dependencies.

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • SEO
  • Schema.org
  • Vercel
  • Web3Forms
  • Designed and built alone for a licensed electrician in Stockholm, live on the company's own domain.
  • No framework, no build step, no dependencies: ~690 lines of markup, ~820 of CSS on design tokens, ~340 of JavaScript.
  • Local search was the point: schema.org Electrician JSON-LD with address, geo, opening hours and services, linked to the Google Business Profile.

RETRO CADE

Browser Arcade Platform

11 games, ~13k lines, no game framework. Deployed on AWS with Terraform.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • HTML5 Canvas
  • Web Audio
  • Groq (Llama 3.3)
  • Redis
  • AWS EC2 + Terraform
  • 11 arcade games hand-built from scratch on Canvas (Pac-Man ghost AI, Tetris, Asteroids physics) — ~13k lines, no game framework.
  • Server-side AI hint system via the Groq API with the secret key kept off the client.
  • Infrastructure-as-code deployment (Terraform, nginx, systemd) on AWS EC2 with a Redis-backed global leaderboard.

Booking Platform

Built to a real brief from a Stockholm nail studio losing bookings in Instagram DMs.

  • Next.js 16 (App Router)
  • React 19
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase (Postgres + RLS + Auth)
  • Tailwind v4
  • date-fns-tz
  • Nodemailer → Resend
  • next-intl
  • Vitest
  • Built to a real brief from a one-person Stockholm nail studio that was handling appointments over Instagram DMs; deployed and live.
  • Double-booking is impossible by construction — a GiST exclusion constraint over a tstzrange rejects overlapping confirmed bookings.
  • Availability is derived on request from working hours minus time off minus bookings, in salon-local time, with DST covered by tests.

NordCart

Full-stack E-commerce

Full e-commerce with Stripe checkout that cannot double-charge.

  • Next.js 16
  • TypeScript
  • Express 5
  • MongoDB Atlas + Mongoose
  • Stripe
  • Cloudinary
  • JWT (httpOnly)
  • A Next.js frontend on Vercel against an Express 5 REST API on Render — the frontend holds no database access at all.
  • Checkout runs inside a MongoDB transaction and is idempotent on the Stripe payment id, so a duplicate resolves instead of charging twice.
  • The cart is priced on the server from stored prices; the JWT lives in an httpOnly cookie behind bcrypt and rate-limited auth endpoints.

REST API Service

Swedavia Flight Tracker

Swedavia Flight Tracker

REST API Service

Async FastAPI wrapper with TTL caching, under pytest.

  • FastAPI
  • Pydantic
  • httpx (async)
  • TTL cache
  • pytest
  • Clean API wrapper around Swedish airport flight data, hiding the upstream key and using TTL caching to cut downstream calls.
  • One service layer powering a REST API, a CLI tool, and an interactive terminal menu.
  • Full pytest suite with the external API mocked — tests run with no network dependency.

03 — About

About

Arben Kurti, Full-Stack Developer

Arben Kurti is a full-stack developer based in Stockholm, Sweden, building with Next.js, TypeScript, Python and Postgres.

I still drive a delivery truck full time. The code started in the hours around that job: Codecademy first, then the Full Stack Web Developer programme at JENSEN, then a cloud and DevOps internship at Nation.dev, where I found out what happens to code after it leaves my laptop.

What I build now is full-stack, and it usually starts from a real problem. Atelier Eri is a booking site built to a brief from a nail studio in Stockholm that was losing appointments in Instagram DMs. MinBiz is a product of my own — quotes, invoices and VAT for Swedish trade businesses, on its own domain and currently in public beta.

The part I care about is the part nobody sees. Put the rule in the database instead of trusting the app to remember it. Write the test before you trust the fix. I work in Swedish and English, and grew up with Albanian and Greek.
